Leaning back in the bed of the pick-up, Gregory Campbell relaxed. The darkening sky that stretched out until oblivion over the massive lake was a wonder to him. An old year book sat in his hands. Just flipping through the pages, he laughed at some pics, tsked his tounge at others, and almost threw the book into the water at a few, but just continued with the reminicing. Turning to one page, he saw a picture of the Student Council, it was all from his Sophmore year, but there he was, glasses perched on his nose, student council shirts all blending together. But his shaggy hair stuck out. Looking through all the different faces, he smilled, some things were better as a memory, but some things, they were just fine no matter what they were.

Student Council that year had been interesting, he hadn't been an officer, just a rep. but that suited him, he hadn't wanted to be an officer, he's always too busy to do any of that stuff. But looking amongst the faces, his eyes landed on his cousin, her perfect face smilling out at him. She'd been killed a few weeks after the picture had been taken, murdered more like, spent too much time living in her own world and then, when the oppertunity came to model she'd jumped at it. Her body was never found. Flipping the page, he just kept on flipping them until he'd reached the back where all the signatures were. The only few that stuck out were those of his best friends, and his cousin. Keep on Rockin' Greg! Can't wait to see ya' next year! Laikn or Glad to have my spaz buddy back for one more year, 'eh? Dave but the one that he enjoyed reading the most was, of course, his cousin's. Greg, much love, of course, and I know that we'll have an awesome summer, right? You're the best friend anyone could ever ask for, never change. Channa.

Closing the year book, he leaned back against the back of the truck, he often came out here, just to think at times, others, just to relax and enjoy the sunset. Today was neither, he just couldn't spend anothe moment in the boring dorms.
